Wet microbursts along the slow moving line led to damaging winds of 70-80 mph across portions of South Central Kansas. Also the slow moving storms led to torrential downpours across portions of the Wichita metro area. Widespread rainfall amounts of 3 to 4 inches, produced flash flooding across the heart of the Wichita metro area, including submerging numerous vehicles.
