Episode narrativeepisode_narrative	A strong cold front moved through Southeast Michigan during the peak heating of the day and led to another big event, especially for late August. Severe thunderstorms with large hail and damaging wind gusts impacted nearly all of Southeast Lower Michigan, including all neighboring marine areas. A couple of storms across the Thumb showed rotation and prompted the issuance of a couple of tornado warnings. No tornadoes were reported. Lightning struck the National Weather Service office during this event, causing total damages in excess of $15K.
