| episode_narrative | Scattered severe thunderstorms developed from the afternoon of the 7th through the early morning hours of the 8th across portions of northern, central, and southwest Oklahoma. In Logan County, a mobile home was destroyed, and the roof of a business was damaged in the town of Crescent. In Pottawatomie County, a large tree was blown down in Shawnee near Bob Crouch Drive. Large tree limbs were reported down 9 miles northeast of Byron in Alfalfa County, 5 miles west of Agra in Lincoln County, in Mulhall in Logan County, and in Garber in Garfield County, where power lines were also reported down. Power lines were also reported down in Kay County, 3 miles north of Newkirk. Lightning ignited fires at a home 3 miles east of Ponca City in Kay County and at Mid-Continent Pipeline, located 7 miles east of Cushing in Payne County, where two tank batteries were damaged. |
