Hardest hit was Talbot County. Nearly all of Easton (8,700 did) lost power when lightning struck Easton Utility's connection to the power pool. Power outages also occurred around Chestertown in Kent County, across central Queen Anne's County and in northern Caroline County. Most of the power was restored by midnight.
