episode_narrativeThunderstorms which formed across portions of central Oklahoma during the early morning of the 23rd caused widespread street flooding on West Reno in Oklahoma City in Oklahoma County, where a pick-up truck was mostly submerged. Water had to be removed by electric pumps at NW 6th and Penn, while sections of SE 74th near Hiawassee Rd. caved in. In Cleveland County, several roads were closed due to flooding in Norman, and Main St. was flooded near Moore High School in the city of Moore. Finally, lightning struck a tree in Pauls Valley in Garvin County, causing large limbs to fall into severel power lines, knocking out power.
