| episode_narrative | A unusually organized strong to severe thunderstorm developed in the Siskiyou Mountains along the Jackson and Josephine county border and moved north along the county line before propagating to the right into eastern Douglas County where it gradually weakened. The organized cell showing weak supercell characteristics produced a fantastic lightning display with spotters reporting continuous lightning with one report of ball lightning. 44000 residents were without power between Rogue River Oregon to Crescent City California from 2032 pm to 2200 pm. The storm developed in an area of strong upper level diffluence in advance of an approaching shortwave trough. |
