| Episode narrativeepisode_narrative | A ten year old girl was struck by lightning while on a horse farm along County Highway 42 in southeast Marion County. Lightning struck a tree and then the charge traveled along a metal fence, which the girl was holding with her hands. The girl had bruises consistent with an indirect lightning strike with red marks on her arms and abdomen and a black mark on her buttocks, which indicates a lightning exit wound. She was taken by helicopter to Orlando Regional Medical Center as a precaution. |
