Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeA very moist and highly unstable airmass was in place ahead of a cold front on the 14th. Several rounds of severe thunderstorms developed in this airmass. These thunderstorms produced quite a bit of wind damage which knocked out power for several thousands of residents in Northeast New Jersey. Lightning strikes were also reported, some of which knocked out power and started fires.
