Lightning struck a metal storm gutter, which became heated and eventually caused the vinyl siding to catch on fire. The fire then spread through the entire house. There were no injuries, however the four dogs in the house were saved. A total of seven separate fire companies responded to the fire. Damage to the house and its contents were estimated to be 750,000 dollars. |
