| episode_narrative | A 20-year-old woman was seriously injured after she was struck by lightning while on a cigarette break from the Holiday Inn in West Goshen Township. She and a co-worker were under a tree when lightning struck the tree and then entered her body through the back of her head. It exited through her feet. She went into cardiac arrest for about 4 to 5 minutes. Her co-worker resuscitated her before emergency personnel arrived. She suffered a third degree burn where lightning entered her body in the back of her head. She survived and was released from the hospital on the 3rd. |
