| episode_narrative | Thunderstorms developed in Eastern Iowa along an old boundary the evening of July 31st and moved east, crossing the Mississippi River around Midnight CST. The storms produced considerable amounts of hail across Stephenson County. A barn was struck by lightning west of Loran in Southeast Jo Daviess County and completely burned to the ground. Fortunately no injuries occurred from the fire. |
