Event narrativeevent_narrativeA lightning strike and ensuing fire heavily damaged four units of the Orangewood Apartments off of Mill Creek Road in the Violetwood section of Levittown in Bristol Township. The fire spread along the roof and attic portions of the two story apartment building. Four families were displaced. Approximately 500 cloud-to-ground lightning strikes in Bucks County between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. EDT.
