Event narrativeevent_narrativeA house in the 3000 block of Andrews Ave. in East Naples was hit by lightning, causing a fire inside the home. The family members inside the house got out safely, however at least two pet birds died from the smoke. Fire Officials determined the house was inhabitable from the smoke damage. Time of event was estimated and based on archived lightning data from Earth Systems.
