| episode_narrative | Thunderstorms moved across east central Illinois during the early morning hours of August 19th. Large tree limbs were blown down across all of Ford county. The thunderstorms began producing very heavy rainfall. As a result, flooding occurred across Ford and Iroquois counties through the morning hours before subsiding by afternoon. In Iroquois county, viaduct flooding was reported in Milford and roads were flooded in Watseka. Viaduct flooding was also reported in parts of Ford county. Storm total rainfall amounts include 4.68 inches in Roberts, 2.81 inches in Paxton and 2.41 inches in Gibson City, all three in Ford county. Milford in Iroquois county reported 3.75 inches. A bank was struck by lightning in Morris in Grundy county. The bank suffered significant damage to the roof, siding, and electronic equipment. |
