Local downpours with 1 to 1.5 inches of rain in an hour fell in parts of Jackson, Cabell, Putnam, Lincoln, Kanawha, Boone, Logan, and Mingo Counties. The usual street and poor drainage flooding occurred. ||Lightning strikes from these storms did cause some damage. |
