| episode_narrative | A couple of bands of strong thunderstorms were prolific lightning producers across southwestern New Jersey. Frequent cloud to ground strikes occurred with this band from northern New Jersey into Maryland. It averaged about 3,000 cloud to ground strikes per hour across these areas. In southwestern New Jersey, over 3,500 customers lost power. Hardest hit areas included Cherry Hill and Pennsauken in Camden County, Mantua Township, Washington Township, Clarksboro and Franklinville in Gloucester County and Pennsville Township, Mannington Township, Salem City, Pilesgrove Township and Woodstown Borough in Salem County. |
