episode_narrativeA series of supercell thunderstorms developed along a warm front during the afternoon and evening of August 17 producing a swath of hail as large as tennis balls. As each supercell developed, they quickly moved southeast along the warm front as the northwest upper level flow was parallel to it. So many areas were hit by numerous hail producing supercells. In addition, there were also a few reports of wind damge including a tree falling on a car near Greenwood. The occupied was trapped for a time but received only minor injuries.
