episode_narrativeAn isolated thunderstorm developed in lake breezes during the early afternoon hours. The thunderstorm winds downed trees and power lines in the city of Niagara Falls. Localized poor drainage flooding was reported at College and Highland Avenues. Four tourists visiting the Falls were knocked to the ground when lightning struck a nearby tree near Terrapin Point. The four suffered minor cuts and bruises and were treated and released from a nearby hospital.
