Event narrativeevent_narrativeLightning struck the roof of an apartment building near 29th Street and Craycroft Road. The lightning penetrated the roof's asphalt shingles and caused damage to the cinder block wall below the roof's eave. A nearby palm tree was also ignited by the strike. One resident was knocked over even though he was in a different room, but no one was injured.
