Also the combination, of the full moon and some of the highest astronomical tides of 2013, caused minor tidal flooding to occur along the New Jersey shore during the evening high tide cycle from the 21st through the 25th. The highest tides (all during the evening high tide cycle on the 22nd) included 6.43 feet above mean lower low water in Atlantic City (Atlantic County), 7.36 feet above mean lower low water in Cape May (Cape May County) and 7.32 feet above mean lower low water in Sandy Hook (Monmouth County). Minor tidal flooding starts at 6.0 feet above mean lower low water in Atlantic City and 6.7 feet above mean lower low water in Cape May and Sandy Hook.
