Rainfall of 2 to 4 inches in less than an hour were reported in parts of the city of Madison in southwest Madison and southeast Limestone Counties, resulting in brief flash flooding. This storm also knocked down and uprooted trees in central and southwest Madison. A funnel cloud was spawned from a storm in western Colbert County.
