Event narrativeevent_narrativeLightning struck the roof of a home on Bethlehem Pike in Fort Washington and started a fire. It took fire fighters about 30 minutes to extinguish the blaze. It was confined to the roof, although some holes had to be cut in the roof and walls to extinguish it. No serious injuries were reported.
