Episode narrativeepisode_narrative	An unusually strong late summer cold front was moving toward the southeast United States supported by strong northwest flow aloft on the east side of an ever persistent strong subtropical ridge across Texas and the southern plains. With an unstable, hot surface environment in place across Georgia, the stage was set for scattered thunderstorms. Activity was a little more widespread than on previous days. The storms exhibited frequent cloud-to-ground lightning. A few became strong to severe producing penny to nickel-sized hail and damaging downburst winds.
