Event narrativeevent_narrativeA lightning strike ignited a fire at a house on York Street in Lambertville. Lightning struck and went through the wiring of the home, found a weak spot in a crawl space underneath the first floor and started the fire. A water pipe also burst inside the house. No injuries were reported, but the two residents of the house were provided shelter for the evening. The residents next door were also evacuated due to the heavy smoke.
