| Episode narrativeepisode_narrative | The strong upper trough moving through the Ohio Valley continued to cause problems in the southeast for yet another day. As was the case on the 4th, severe thunderstorms were confined to the far southeast part of the County Warning Area (CWA). Northwest flow aloft kept isolated thunderstorms going well after dark and into the early morning hours of the 6th. Renewed, albeit isolated, thunderstorm development occurred in the west central part of the state during the early morning hours before sunrise on the 6th. |
| Event narrativeevent_narrative | The Upson County Emergency Management Director reported that lightning struck a home near Sunset Village or between Old Alabama Road and Jeff Davis Road. Only minor electrical damage was noted. |
