Episode narrativeepisode_narrativePulse type severe thunderstorms developed during the late afternoon across portions of Southwest Arkansas on July 3rd. These storms developed in a moderately unstable airmass with afternoon temperatures above 100 degrees. Once these storms collapsed, they produced strong damaging wind gusts. These storms were also prolific cloud to ground lightning producers.
