| Episode narrativeepisode_narrative | A complex of thunderstorms developed across east-central South Dakota the early morning of May 9th, and moved eastward across southern Minnesota and into west-central Wisconsin by mid to late morning hours. A strong pressure gradient developed as the thunderstorm complex collapsed and created a wake low which produced damaging non-thunderstorm winds. Damage was confined to large trees near Rice Lake, Eau Clarie, and near Bloomer, Wisconsin. |
