Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeA multi-round severe weather event developed during the early morning hours of the 20th and lasted into the afternoon of the 21st. There were breaks in the episodes of the storms, but the axis of the activity mainly stayed across the northern sections of the forecast area. During these episodes, scattered supercell thunderstorms developed and produced large hail along with some damaging winds. A few of the more intense supercell storms produced hail as large as tennis balls and baseballs. As these storms moved over the same locations, locally heavy rainfall and flash flooding occurred across some areas.
Event narrativeevent_narrativeA home was struck by lightning and damage occurred to the water lines and cement in front of the fireplace.
