Event narrativeevent_narrativeA boater was struck by lightning just east of Lighthouse Point. When the lightning struck the boat the antenna broke and shards of fiberglass shot into the boater's arm. The man was brought into a marina at Pompano Beach then taken to North Broward Medical Center, But did not appear to have serious injuries.
