These storms produced rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches and strong winds of 60 to 80 mph. Temperatures were in upper 80s with some locations topping into the lower 90s. The storms also produced heavy rains which flooded some roads in Muscatine, Iowa. Quarter-sized hail in fell in Scott County Iowa. The showers and thunderstorms tapered off as a cold front pushed through the region during the late evening and overnight hours.
