| Episode narrativeepisode_narrative | Showers and thunderstorms developed ahead of a cold front advancing across Minnesota and Iowa on the afternoon and evening of May 4th. Although these showers and thunderstorms were not very intense as they moved into western and central Wisconsin, they did produce sporadic strong winds along with some cloud to ground lightning, which sparked a fire. |
| Event narrativeevent_narrative | As a thunderstorm passed, a lightning strike started a garage fire. Local fire officials indicated the garage was a complete loss. There were no injuries as a result of the fire. The start time of the fire was corroborated with radar data, as well as with the detection of a cloud to ground lightning strike in the exact location of the fire at that time. |
