Event narrativeevent_narrativeThe Bradley County emergency services reported a man working on a chicken house under construction near Red Clay State Park was stuck by lightning. It had a metal roof, stilts and no sides. He did not take a direct hit; however, the hair on the man's head and body were singed. The man was alert but disoriented when he was taken to the hospital. He is in stable condition now. Another man who was nearby reported some hearing issues, but is alright now.
