Clusters of storms tended to form to the north of Arkansas around the high. Cool outflow from one of these clusters worked southward toward the Arkansas and Missouri border during the afternoon of the 10th. Storms tapered off in the northern half of Arkansas after midnight, but precipitation became widespread in the southwest.
