Event narrativeevent_narrativeLightning struck a home in Collins at about 4:30 AM CDT, which started a two story farm house on fire. The occupants were able to safely evacuate. The fire did major damage to the structure. Part of the roof collapsed and a portion of the second floor fell onto the first floor.
