| Event narrativeevent_narrative | A lightning strike destroyed or damaged five oil tanks about 20 miles west of Casper near the intersection of county roads 201 and 210. The strike occurred about 1300MST blowing the lid off one tank containing about 400 barrels of crude oil. The fire quickly spread to a nearby tank and burning crude oil ignited the other tanks.
