Event narrativeevent_narrativeAround 5:30 PM a trooper from the Florida Highway Patrol was investigating a crash on interstate 95 in Palm Beach County when he was struck by lightning. The trooper was able to radio for help and was taken to Bethesda Memorial Hospital along with two other people who were involved in the crash. All three people injured by the strike were later released by the hospital.
