Several reports of wind gust damage, along with reports of high surf, flooding and debris flow were received between August 16 to 18.

Residents reported a loud explosion-like sound and a bright flash that woke people from sleep. Minor structural damage to a wall was observed. No injuries were reported. Lightning strike occurred within outer bands associated with Hurricane Erin.
