Episode narrativeepisode_narrative	A slow moving cold front helped trigger scattered showers and thunderstorns across New Jersey during the evening of the 14th. Because of the hot and humid air mass preceding this front, some of the storms became severe.
Event narrativeevent_narrative	A family of four were struck and injured by lightning while carrying metal chairs and walking to their vehicle during a rain delay at a baseball game at Walters Park in Phillipsburg. All four collapsed on the field and could not get up after they were struck. They were all hospitalized. The 38-year-old father lost consciousness until the ambulance arrived. He suffered a scratched cornea and muscle soreness in his ankle and back. The 40-year-old mother suffered second degree burns on her back. Their 11-year-old son suffered a cut on his side. Their 9-year-old son also scratched his cornea and had blisters on his feet. All were released from the hospital by the 16th.
