The strongest of these thunderstorms was near Columbia where one inch hail was reported. The most significant damage, however, was from lightning. Near Cookeville, a lightning strike severely damaged an apartment building while another home in Williamson County was also damaged from lightning. |

All occupants were evacuated, and firefighters put out the fire just after 7 AM local time. Four apartments were destroyed, impacting eleven occupants. No injuries were reported, and damages are a rough estimate. |
