| Event narrativeevent_narrative | Multiple lightning events were reported across northeastern Clay county Wednesday night. Two houses were hit by lightning on Azalea Fields Court and Claremont Drive. The houses did not catch fire. Lightning also caused a wildfire in the woods near the 4500 block of County Road 218. There was no estimate on the size of the fire. There were also transformer fires on Moody Avenue and Blanding Boulevard. About 1,500 Clay Electric customers were without power. |
