One teen that was unresponsive after the strike was air lifted to and hospitalized at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. The other injured teen was taken to Cape Canaveral Hospital and later released. The third teen was knocked down by the strike, but otherwise was unharmed. |

Neighbors noticed the three teens on the ground after the lightning strike and called 911. One teen was knocked down by the strike, but was otherwise unharmed. One of the teens was unresponsive, and the unharmed teen administered CPR until first responders arrived. One injured teen was taken to Cape Canaveral Hospital and later released, while the other teen who suffered significant injuries was air lifted to and hospitalized at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. |
