Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeHeavy rains of 1 to 2 inches fell across much of western and northwest Illinois on February 17, 2008. This caused some flooding of farm fields and creeks, and ditches were full. A portion of Interstate 280 near Moline, Illinois was closed due to a flash flood that covered the road. The flash flood occurred on Mill Creek and was caused by an ice jam.
