This system produced two periods of showers and thunderstorms where rainfall totals were maximized across much of eastern California from Alpine County northward to Lassen County and western Nevada from Douglas County northward to the Oregon border. The first period occurred during the late afternoon and evening hours of the 24th, and the second occurred during the morning of the 25th.
