Gusty winds and lightning also caused damage over portions of the Big Island on the 26th; including a couple of roofs blown off homes, downed trees and power lines, and a small fire at the Hilo Medical Center caused by lightning. And there were reports of small hail on the isle that day as well. The cost of damages was not available. No significant injuries were reported. |
