Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeRecurring thunderstorms produced very heavy rain during the morning and early afternoon over parts of western and central Custer County. Three to five inches of rain fell between Jewel Cave, Custer, and Pringle. Runoff from the heavy rain washed gravel off several county roads. On Pleasant Valley Road about six miles southwest of Custer, water flowed over the road due to the accumulation of debris from slash piles in the road ditch.
Event narrativeevent_narrativeA total of 3.36 inches of rain fell in about six hours.
