| Episode narrativeepisode_narrative | A very moist subtropical flow of air spread across western Colorado ahead of a powerful low pressure system. This produced widespread heavy snow across the mountains along with strong winds. This was a relatively warm system initially causing unseasonably high snow levels and mixed precipitation across much of the mountains. After colder air moved into the area moderate to heavy snow impacted some valleys and basins across western Colorado. Heavy rainfall occurred across some of the lower elevations.
