This moisture led to widespread precipitation, some from heavy rainfall producing thunderstorms, which in turn produced areas of flooding across portions of Western Colorado on June 10th.
Event narrativeevent_narrativeA strong thunderstorm produced heavy rainfall within a short period of time which produced minor flooding. Radar estimated rainfall amounts were in excess of an inch in some places. Rainfall measurements up to 0.95 of an inch were measured in the western portion of Grand Junction.
