High intensity rain fell on nearly barren hillsides above the north side of town. Mud and water flowed down the slope and around 10 homes, a few of which sustained minor damage, and some water in their basements. An estimated 1 to 1.25 inches of rain fell between West Valley and Anaconda in about an hour. |
