Hardest hit with the flash flooding were locations in extreme northern Cumberland County as well as along the Atlantic and Gloucester County borders. Three to six inches of rain fell in this area mainly between 4 p.m. EDT and 10 p.m. EDT on the 1st. As both the low pressure system and frontal boundary sagged southeast, the severe and heavy rain threat ceased. |
