episode_narrativeHeavy rain, associated with weak low pressure systems riding along a nearly stationary frontal boundary in the southern Delmarva Peninsula, fell across Warren County. The heavier rain came in two shots, during the early morning of the 24th and again during the evening of the 24th. Storm totals averaged between 2 and 3 inches. The county avoided heavier rain that fell both to the west in the Lehigh Valley and to the south and east in the Passaic and Raritan Basins. While there was some urban and poor drainage flooding, there were no reports of flooding along the major streams. Storm totals included 2.68 inches at the Easton Bridge.
